When In Doubt, Wear Black
If you are pregnant, first of all, congratulations! Pregnancy is always a gift whether it is planned or unplanned. Some women however, find it so hard to embrace their pregnancy. They think that it is such a burden to them and they are such a burden too to everyone else. Why? If you haven’t been pregnant or have no idea what a pregnant woman feels well, most pregnant women have morning sickness, urinates a lot, binge eat, feels fat and ugly because of the many changes in her body like swelling feet, legs, arms, dark underarms and so on. If that ain’t enough, pregnant women also find it hard to look for maternity cloths.
Not only are pregnant women having a hard time looking for their clothes to wear but they are also in the verge of saving up for the upcoming baby. Yes, baby duties usually come first for these mommies. However, mommies should never have to feel depressed or lose their charm and confidence just because of the things they experience as mentioned above. They should still feel like this is the time of their lives.
If you are a mom, what would you wear?
- If you are an expecting mom, you should never wear baggy clothes. Sure, you can still wear sweats and t-shirts but please wear them only during sleeping time or when you are at home and your husband is not there. Why? First, your husband should never see you looking like crap. You should still make him feel like he is important to you by trying to look good. Sure, having a marriage means being comfortable with each other but being comfortable does not mean that you should just look like you didn’t take a bath. So, try to wear something besides your sweat pants or your t-shirts.
- Just a reinforcement from the first bullet, do not ever wear your husband’s clothes. They too are considered under the baggy and sloppy section.
- Try to buy clothes that you can still wear post-pregnancy like flowy tops, tunics and garterized shorts, skirts and jeans.
The last thing you should never forget is, when in doubt, wear black.
